Heath is Still Away, Went to Conway for 5 Days, "Toot-Toot," Strawberry Picking, Boating & Conway Children's Musesum

Wes:  1 Year, 8 Months & 2 Weeks Old
Ty:  3 Years, 9 Months & 2 Weeks Old

July 18-24

Heath was still away in China...so we went to Conway for 5 days.  On Friday we were supposed to go to the Children's Museum in Conway but it was unexpectedly closed & we had to come up with alternate plans!

We went to the Schooler Park playground

We walked over to the Conway Scenic Railroad & they were having a Thomas the Train kids event - and this started Westin's Thomas (aka "Toot-Toot") obsession

Friday afternoon we topped off our busy day with strawberry picking

I had to remove Westin from the patch after about 10 minutes because he had eaten so many strawberries - I was afraid he would get sick!  He was not happy!

Everyone was done, but Ty would not stop until his bucket was completely full to the top!

Westin is back to eating again!

The cousins collecting the lamb's offering at Conway church

One of Ty's many forts that he made at Noni & Poppy's house

Sabbath afternoon we went swimming at Echo Lake

10:30 Saturday night and Finley could not sleep - so she was up playing games with us!
Sunday we went boating on Winnipesaukee

Picnic lunch

Ty trying to "catch some wind!"

Ice-cream stop at the Weir's

"Ha-ha!  You spilled something!"

You too, Wes!
Tired on the way back

We made it to the Children's Museum after all on Monday with Noni, Leigh & Bode.  It is a fantastic museum!
They have a ton of costumes for the kids to wear

Ty loves to talk about knights & dragons and he got to be a dragon here!
Sean went away on business too, so Shan & the kids came and spend one night with us

Watching a show after picking up all their toys!

Heath Goes to China for 2 Weeks, 1st Solo Sleepover for the Boys, White Lake Fun, Griffin's B-day Party & Beatles Outdoor Concert

Wes:  1 Year, 8 Months & 1 Week Old
Ty:  3 Years, 9 Months & 1 Week Old

July 11-17
We went shopping at the pharmacies on Friday (weird day, I know) and Wes insisted on holding this giant package of paper towels!

I worked 7a-7p on Sabbath and Ty decided to make me a casserole, so I didn't have to cook after a long day of work!

** I worked Sunday 3p-3a and Heath left for a 2 week business trip to China that morning.  Sonia & Keith came and picked up the kids (and the dogs) for their first sleepover without Mom & Dad!  Since I would be getting home at about 4:30 AM, Sonia would have had to spend the night...and she had been planning on having some family over for a BBQ at her house, so it just worked out better for them to take the kids there.  They did amazing!  No problems at all! **

I met Sonia & the boys (plus some of the school kids & my friend Stephanie) at our new favorite lake to swim at... White Lake State Park.  The water is so warm, has great views of the mountains, the water stays shallow for a long time, very sandy & has a great playground.  What more can you ask?  I was mortified, though.  Sonia had said, "sleep in, we will get there at about 11 am...why don't you join us at around 1 pm?"  I had set my alarm (but in my stupor at 5 am, I had set it for pm instead of am)...and I woke up at noon!  Needless to say, I was late getting there!

Wes with Autumn & Brooke Blakeney...he had a bit of a problem throwing sand! )=

That is Ty (in the yellow floaties) and Kate Blakeney swimming together - Ty's swimming is getting so good!

Wednesday we celebrated Griffin's 1 year birthday

Ty & Poppy sharing a fun moment

Then Wes & Poppy bonding over a shared love of watermelon!

Yes, that is Finley blowing out Griffin's candle & Ty sticking his finger in the cake!!!!

My mom gets after me for putting bibs on my kids everywhere....but why not?

Or they could look like this sweet boy!!!! (=

Some of Griffin's treasures

Ty loved this bubble mower and kept stalking the birthday boy for when he would stop using it!

Thursday I had a deposition for a malpractice case that I am involved with (horrible day) and Sonia had watched the boys.  She said, "I think Ty is exhausted" and he passed out in the first 5 minutes in the car!  We had packed up on Thursday night for 4-5 days in Conway (since Heath was gone, might as well stay with my parents)

As soon as we got to Conway on Thursday night we met up with my mom, Leigh, Bode, Mia, Zoe (Mia's best friend and now Ty's crush), Jane & Bill (Leigh's mom & stepdad) for an outdoor Beatles cover band concert!  It was amazing!!!!!

It was held at the base of the ski mountain that I skied every Sunday growing up...Cranmore!

The kids loved climbing up the hill

See Mom, this is what happens when he doesn't wear a bib!

The cousins enjoying some cookies!
