Girls Night Out, Market Basket is Back & Labor Day Weekend @ the Edwards

NO GREAT PICTURES THIS WEEK AT ALL!!!!
Wes:  1 Year, 9 Months & 3 Weeks Old
Ty:  3 Years, 10 Months & 3 Weeks Old

Aug 25 - Sept 1

Girls & Boys Nights....Shannon & I took my mom out for her birthday that we missed while coming back from Nova Scotia.  The boys had a fun "boys night" at home!  We went to the Outback and had a blast!  I wanted to go to a movie after, but those two were going to turn into a pumpkin at 10:00 - so I was out of luck!

We do look a little alike here

Ty putting toys into individual tupperware - what will he think of next?

Ty & Wes building blocks

One of the finished results

Ty & Wes throwing their toys into a huge pile...they call it a "party!"

I rewarded them with an episode of Curious George after they picked up their "party!"

Speaking of parties... it was my 35th birthday on that Wednesday and the boys took me out for my favorite...Indian food!  It was delicious!  Westin only ate the lentil soup and Ty pigged out on the rice and Naan bread, but they did much better than I thought!

The big news that week was that the Market Basket workers prevailed and their fired CEO bought out the company - it had been a long 6 weeks without Market Basket!  Please don't ever do that again!

I worked all Labor Day weekend and I sent the boys packing to the Edwards' house (Heath didn't take any pictures).  I had some wonderful solo nights and worked 36 hours in 3 days.  This was Sunday at around 1 pm - it was crazy - I have never seen Route 93 this bad before.  This wasn't even due to an accident!  Just massive amounts of cars, I guess.

"Don't Hit Any Wild Animals," Camping With the Blakeneys & First Tubing Ride

Wes: 1 Year, 9 Months & 2 Weeks Old
Ty:  3 Years, 10 Months & 2 Weeks Old

August 18-24

Ty showing off his Lego block tower

Noni & Poppy stopped in for a visit on their motorcycle.  Weirdly enough, Ty called out the window to them when they were leaving..."Don't hit any wild animals!"  I have never talked to him about hitting animals on a motorcycle...not sure where that came from!

Just a tad big on Westy!

Enjoying our screened-in porch for lunch

Painting...Ty is "Quality Control"- checking out Westin's work!

Post-haircut with blue hair gel

Why can't these pictures turn out?

Tyson doing a "project" while Westin was sleeping.  Organizing his crayons in colors first before coloring!

We moved to markers when Westin woke up.  Westin is not satisfied to use only 1 marker at a time!

Conway church that Sabbath

"I love you Bode!"

Westin is so cute when he is praying!

3 cousins after church

Heading to our friend's the Blakeney's camp - an island in Long Lake for camping that weekend.  Westin decided that he wanted to take us there!

Just kidding!

Finley taking a turn at driving

Puppies "enjoying" the ride with Grammy

These two were REALLY enoying the ride!

Ty is ready for swimming off their dock

Heath, Ty & Sean tubing

Great view & a great time was had by all!

Back Home, Missing Market Basket & Beach Day @ Wells

Wes: 1 Year, 9 Months & 1 Week Old
Ty: 3 Years, 10 Months & 1 Week Old

August 11 (Mom's birthday) - August 17

It is amazing that Tyson made it all the way back from Nova Scotia in our duffel bag!! (=

The boys were definitely happy to be home with their toys!  This was their version of "Noah's ark!"

What will this boy come up with next?  He taped all the big toys together, like a train!!

Here's the first pic again...I was forced to shop at Hannaford this week since Market Basket was essentially being held hostage by the workers who were trying to get their recently-fired CEO hired back.  I literally was spending $50 more per week - it was terrible!  But at least they have this car-attached to their grocery carts that the boys love!

On Sabbath we went to Well's Beach and Sonia & Adam met us there

I ran in to Market Basket on Sunday night for something quick - I really just wanted to see what my usual crazy-busy-you-can't-move-in-the-aisles store looked like empty.  The dairy section was almost completely full.

But this was the deli...

Breads & produce...

Westy is like, "What in the world?  Where is all the food?"

This couldn't get resolved fast enough for me!
