4th of July Bar Harbor Camping, Heath's B-day, Nova Scotia Burns Down, Wes Loves Salad, "Ya-Ya" & "Stupid Strong!"

Wes:  1 Year & 8 Months Old
Ty:  3 Years & 9 Months Old
July 4 - 10

We left campmeeting on Friday the 4th to go to Bar Harbor for the weekend.  Our first time in a real campground with the camper.  We failed our first test.  We backed up the camper, leveled it, put the blocks behind the tires, unhitched the truck, and then found that our power cord was literally 1 foot short to reach the outlet.  We had to hook up and do it all again!

Our ocean site

We took the boys on this train through the campground - they loved it!  We were completely full & it overheated and stopped on the top of a hill!  Not for long though!

Heath's 37th birthday on Sabbath - the 5th of July (that night we found out that our family cabin in Nova Scotia burned to the ground...we were so devastated)

3 generations of Edwards...walking to the free Bar Harbor bus to go to the downtown

Beautiful sunset over the harbor in Bar Harbor

Ty had a blast riding his bike through the campground...despite a pretty bad spill...but he got right back on!

Sunday after breakfast at our favorite "Cafe this Way"

They have been holding hands more lately!  Love it!

Island just across the harbor in Bar Harbor that you can walk to across a sandbar at low tide - thanks for the tip Camille!  We loved it!

Wes worked up his thirst and asked for his "ya-ya" (aka water)

Sunday night we ate at our favorite Macaroni Grill and Wes pigged out on Caesar salad!

Ty got into my makeup and put lipstick (which I never wear) all over his face!
